Book Donation Drive for Local Universities and Colleges

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Libraries recently spearheaded a Book Donation Drive aimed at enhancing literacy, promoting academic collaboration, and fostering a lifelong love for learning among students and faculty in local universities and colleges. This initiative, titled Book Donation Drive for Local Universities and Colleges, was conducted in partnership with the Camarines Sur Library Consortium (CALICOM) and included the active involvement of various academic institutions such as GMVCC-Siruma, GMVCC-Tinambac, and Calabanga Community College.

Held on July 31, 2024, the drive featured the donation of a wide range of academic resources, including textbooks, reference materials, and educational publications, all carefully selected to support the curricular and research needs of partner institutions. The event underscored CBSUA Libraries’ commitment to strengthening the region's academic network and facilitating access to essential learning materials. Through initiatives like these, CBSUA Libraries and CALICOM aim to create a more connected, resourceful, and learning-oriented community across the province of Camarines Sur. Editor by:Jennyca S.
