EBSCO and AgriPlus Subscription Renewed
Pili Campus
To better help the varying needs of its academic clientele, the University Library renews its subscription to EBSCO and Agriculture Plus (AgriPlus). EBSCO Academic Collection houses 221,905 multidisciplinary eBook titles that strongly complement the library's printed collection.
University Library Assessed During the ISO Internal Audit
Pili Campus
The University Libraries partakes in the University-wide ISO Internal Audit held last August 31, 2022. During the audit, the quality management systems of the library were assessed on the various documents like Risk Register (RR), Integrated Objectives (IO), Integrated Objectives Performance Monitoring (IOPM), Library SWOT Analysis, and Work Procedures.
Face to Face Library Orientation to Freshmen

The University Library participated in the face-to-face orientation seminar to freshmen and transferees in Pili Campus facilitated by the Office of the Student Affairs. This year ORSEM is called “USBONG” with theme, Thriving and Flourishing in Flexible Learning held on August 9-10, 2022 at the Student’s Atrium.
Certificate of Copyright Registration awarded to Library Operations Manual

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), Bureau of Copyright and Related Rights granted a Certificate of Copyright Registration on July 20, 2022 to the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture’s University Library Operations Manual.
CBSUA Assisted LUCs thru Training- Workshop for Library WEBPAGE Customization

The CBSUA Libraries conducted a training workshop for Library WEBPAGE Customization to Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) in Camarines Sur on July 15, 2022, at CBSUA Library, Pili Camarines Sur. Dr. Ana E. Miraña, Vice President for Academic Affairs, gave an inspirational message to the participants.
The event was attended by the Librarians/Library In-Charge of Baao Community College (BCC), Calabanga Community College (CCC), Gov. Mariano E. Villafuerte Community Colleges (GMVCC) from the campuses of Tinambac, Siruma, Garchitorena, and Libmanan. Mr. Kenneth Roman an IT Staff of the Library was the Resource Person and the CBSUA Librarians and staff served as training facilitators.
Library Acquired Books and IT Equipment
Sipocot Campus
In order to achieve one of the goals of the library which is to identify and acquire relevant and updated printed, electronic and digital learning resources and facilities, the CBSUA Library Sipocot Campus has acquired thirty-seven (37) titles and forty-seven (47) volumes of relevant and printed books amounting to Two Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Pesos (P 276,460.00) on May 16, 2022.
Thirty-three (33) titles of which are about information technology and the remaining four (4) titles are about sciences and Filipino. Additional one (1) unit barcode scanner and one (1) unit computer desktop have been purchased for the Integrated Library Automation System.
Library Evaluated for Regional Quality Assessment
Pili and Calabanga Campus
Ms. Karen Iñigo, CHED RQAT accreditor, visited the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Pili Campus for the CHED- Regional Quality Assessment validation of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Major in Agritourism on May 4, 2022. One of the areas evaluated was the Library, wherein documents like books/e-books, journals/e-journals, facilities and equipment, library personnel’s profile, budget, linkages, and others were verified. Likewise, the CBSUA Calabanga Library has undergone an RQAT evaluation for their Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program on May 26, 2022.
Library Book Fair

Books play a quintessential role in every student's life by introducing them to a world of imagination, providing knowledge of the outside world, improving their reading, writing, and speaking skills, and boosting memory and intelligence. Last April 28, 2022, the CBSUA Library Calabanga Campus conducted a book fair/exhibit participated by book dealers. The said activity lasted for two days, giving ample time for the faculty from the different colleges to select books for acquisition.
