PCARD visits University Library

The PCARD–DOST delegation visited the Bicoliana Section of the University Library with the assistance of the University Librarian, Mrs. Rowena R. Manaog, and with the full support of the Campus Administrator, Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario. The visit highlighted the library’s commitment to preserving and promoting local knowledge and resources relevant to the Bicol region.

During the visit, the library staff showcased the wide range of books and reference materials available in the Bicoliana Section, emphasizing their value in supporting academic research, instruction, and cultural studies. In addition to the physical collection, the library also presented its subscribed and open-access online resources, which are actively utilized by students and faculty to enhance research output, access reliable information, and enrich learning experiences within the library.

The visit provided an opportunity to demonstrate how the University Library continuously supports academic excellence, research development, and knowledge dissemination through both traditional and digital resources, reinforcing its vital role in the academic community.
