PNHS Students’ research and immersion activities

220 STE Students from PNHS Visit CBSUA-Pili University Library to Enhance Research Skills.

Pili, Camarines Sur — Around 220 students under the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program of Pili National High School visited the University Library of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Pili Campus, on November 21, 2025.

The educational visit aimed to enrich the students’ academic experience by introducing them to advanced library resources, research tools, and academic services offered by the university.

During the activity, students were oriented on the different sections of the library, including digital research facilities, reference materials, and specialized collections that support scientific and technological studies. Librarians also conducted a brief demonstration on accessing online databases and credible research sources.

The visit is part of PNHS’s ongoing efforts to strengthen students' research competencies, deepen their understanding of scientific inquiry, and better prepare them for future academic pursuits.

CBSUA-Pili University Library expressed its gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local schools in fostering a culture of academic excellence and lifelong learning.
