BOR approves library operations manual and library fines for overdue books
The Library Advisory Committee (LAC) gathered at the Audio-Visual Room of the Main Library on May 24, 2018. It was attended by the members of the committee together with the student representatives namely Mr. Tommy Basmayor from the Pili Campus and Mr. Joel D. Toroquin of Sipocot Campus with Engineer Rolando G. De Asis, VP for Academic Affairs. The main agenda was the review of the University Library Operations Manual and the rate for the library fines for overdue books in all campuses. Dr. Rolando Oloteo, the University Librarian, explained that the purpose for the review of the library manual was the recommendation of the AACCUP accreditors for its approval of the Board of Regents. The library fine for overdue books in all campuses are as follows: (1) peso per hour of delay for the first day and five (5) pesos per day for the succeeding day/s of the overdue excluding Sundays and holidays.�The revised library operations manual was endorsed by the Library Advisory Committee to the Administrative Council. Finally, on June 14, 2018, the Board of Regents (BOR) approved the University Library Operations Manual and the Increase of Library Fines for Overdue Books through a Resolution No. 40, 2018
