CBSUA librarians attended the training on Web Skills for Librarians and Information Professionals

The seminar- workshop was spearheaded by the Philippine Librarians Association Inc. - Bicol Region Librarians Council (PLAI-BRLC) and nit was held at Divine Word College, Legazpi City on May 11-12, 2017. � � � � � The participants were welcomed by the council president, Mrs. Amy A. Alegre and it was followed by giving the mechanics of the seminar-workshop by the Conference Chair- Mrs. Jennifer Blacer. ��������� The participants from the CBSUA Libraries were the following: ��������� Main Campus ������������������� Rolando P. Oloteo; Annielee S. Lopez and Sherwin A. Balang ��������� Sipocot Campus ��������� ��������� Dolores C. Perez and Agnes Midem ��������� The highlight of the seminar was the lecture of the speaker, Mr. Elmer Claveria, the Network Administrator of Ateneo De Naga University. ��������� The lecture presented were the application of Google Docs, such as: google sheet, google forms, google slides, google slides and google sites. The participants were able to perform hands on exercises on each application. ��������� The participants were asked to create and present a website to ensure that they have learned the applications on each google applications. ��������� Mr. Rene Manlangit, PLAI�s Vice President for Luzon gave an updates on the activities of�the Philippine Librarians Association Inc. (PLAI). ��������� The participants received a certificate of participation with 10.5 CPD points.
