CBSUA-Libraries Conducted Orientation Seminar to Freshmen and Transferees

On August 13, 14, and 15, 2025, the University Librarian conducted a three-day Library Orientation for the freshmen, transferees, and new students (SIRANG). The orientation schedule was as follows: August 13 – College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR); August 14 – College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and College of Development Education (CDE); and August 15 – College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Economics and Management (CEM), and College of Engineering and Food Science (CEFS).

This annual activity aims to familiarize new students with the library’s policies, services, facilities, and staff, ensuring that they become well oriented users who can fully utilize the library’s resources for their academic needs.
