Certificate of Copyright Registration awarded to Library Operations Manual

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), Bureau of Copyright and Related Rights granted a Certificate of Copyright Registration on July 20, 2022 to the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture’s University Library Operations Manual.

The certificate of copyright was submitted in accordance with Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines). The term of protection of the University Library Manual is the lifetime of the last surviving author and for fifty (50) years after the said author's death. The certificate gives the authors the exclusive right to use or authorize others to use the work on agreed terms.

The application for the copyright registration was coordinated to the Office of the Intellectual Property Office of the university through its Director Engr. Ian Carlo Lositaño.
