Library Orientation to Freshmen and Transferees

The University Library participated in the face-to-face orientation seminar for first-year students and transferees in the Pili Campus facilitated by the Office of Student Affairs and Services. This year, ORSEM is called "USBONG" with the theme, Setting Sail for a New Academic Odyssey, held on August 9-11, 2023, at the Student's Atrium.

The students were given a glimpse of the various library sections and services available. Moreover, the library policies on borrowing books, lockers, and other library resources were highlighted. The students were also oriented about the CBSUA Library websites to access the subscribed multidisciplinary academic databases such as EBSCO and Gale Academic Research Complete. Instruction on the know-how of the library's newly developed digital library, CBSUA Library ETheses, is given so students can access the full text of the theses and dissertations of CBSUA students.
