University Library spearheads Online Training of E-Resources

The CBSUA University Library spearheaded an Online Training of E-Resources on November 23, 2021, via zoom. This is one of the National Book Week Celebration highlights in the CBSUA with the theme "Outcomes, Outreach, Outstanding: Libraries Beyond Libraries. This program aimed to promote the library's various online research resources and services to stakeholders.
Dr. Ana E. Miraña, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the welcome remarks, and Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, the University President, gave his inspirational message. Mr. Bonneth Siguisabal, the Information Consultant of EBSCO Information Services, was the resource speaker; he actively oriented the CBSUA community to available online resources such as the Academic E-Books and e-journals subscribed by the University. It was participated by the CBSUA faculty and students from all four campuses. There were 1,589 registered participants and 675 viewers via Facebook Live.
After his presentation, he had the fun game in a quiz bee wherein the winners received cash prizes: Ms. Jasmin Arabe, 1st prize - – CANR; DES, 2nd prize, and Ms. Roslyn Tapado, 3rd prize -BSE.
The University Librarian, Dr. Rolando P. Oloteo gave the closing remarks and gave heartfelt gratitude to the students and faculty, speaker, the CBSUA Administrators, and all library personnel.
