University upgrades library automated system

The University Library at Pili, Camarines Sur acquired an updated version of the Library Automated System called Pagemaster V.5.0 a Web-based Integrated Library Information System. This library system caters to various modules which will improve the transactions in the library. Such modules include cataloging of books/AV materials/theses/dissertations, periodical indexing, searching, circulation,�attendance monitoring, report generation, and other relevant �features. Mr. Edwin Adversario, the IT consultant of the Pagemaster, installed the new library system to� the� University� Library and conducted an orientation and training to library personnel and IT staff. The library staff is continuously encoding the bibliographic information of the book and theses in the web- based library system. Likewise, indexing of periodicals materials is religiously encoded in the library system to guide the clients in retrieving the information resources efficiently. The CBSUA Main Library clientele can now access the bibliographic information of the various resources in the WEBOPAC (https://cbsualib-report.wixsite.com/ read) either onsite or remote.
