University-Wide Online Orientation of Library E-Resources

The Library conducted a Library Orientation on March 4, 2025, to familiarize students, faculty, and researchers with various learning resources and essential informational tools. This online event took place from 11:30 AM to 12:00 NN via Zoom and Facebook Live, ensuring accessibility for a broader audience. Two distinguished resource persons were invited to share their expertise. The first speaker, Sir Bonneth Siguisabal from EBSCO Host, provided an insightful discussion on the different learning resources available for researchers and how they can maximize these tools for academic and scholarly work. Additionally, Sir Roberto Almeda from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas discussed an informative session on identifying genuine polymer banknotes versus counterfeit ones. This session aimed to enhance financial literacy and awareness regarding the security features of polymer currency. The orientation served as an excellent opportunity for attendees to expand their knowledge and develop essential research and financial skills.
