The CBSUA Libraries have recorded 42,373 library resource usage for January-June 2023. The Pili Campus registered 21,762 library resource utilization; Sipocot Campus with 10,572; Calabanga Campus with 9,739, and Pasacao Campus with 300. Most library users used printed e-books with a record of 12,265 utilization, theses and dissertation with 8,338 usages, and e-journals with 7,723 usages.
CHED Evaluates University Library for BSTM Major in Agritourism RQAT

The CHED Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) recently conducted an ocular inspection and validation of compliance at CBSUA University Library for the BSTM Major in Agritourism last May 30, 2023, with Dr. Karen Iñigo from CHED Regional Office V. The visit aimed to assess the institution's adherence to CHED's standards.
During the inspection, the Library presented updated BSTM resources in both printed and electronic formats. The Library also presented updated subscription certificates and a range of journal titles from BSTM professional journals, ensuring access to current and relevant resources.
University Library hosts Book Fair
Pili Campus
The CBSUA University Library held a book fair from May 22-26, 2023, that was participated by several book dealers: Forefront Books, BookQuick Marketing, Serv Enterprises, Philippine Publishing House, and Rex Bookstore. As an authority in their respective field of specialization, the Faculty members carefully identified and selected books for their subject taught to be used as reference materials. The University Librarian consolidated and finalized the list of books for acquisition based on the collection development analysis and the allocated budget. This activity showcases the University's unwavering dedication to facilitating access to valuable, up-to-date reference books to enhance students' learning experience.
DOST FPRDI donates books to University Library

The DOST-Forest Products Research and Development Institute has donated 50 copies of the book "Forest Vines in Selected Bicol Provinces" to Pili, Calabanga, Pasacao, and Sipocot Campus library campuses. These books will serve as additional resources for the researchers of the CBSUA community, supporting studies on forest vines and biodiversity. The donation expresses gratitude to the libraries for their commitment to providing diverse resources and will significantly benefit the CBSUA community.
